I visited this hotel in September 2020, and I had an amazing experience. First, they are definitely taking precautions during the pandemic. I was greeted with a smile, hand sanitizer, and friendly reminder to wear my mask each time I arrived back at the hotel. The hotel was spotless and housekeeping was great. I had a room with a view of the sea, and it was so amazing to wake up to each day. The beach on the property was also beautiful and great to lay on in the evenings. I appreciated the swim up bar in the pool, and all the poolside servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was eh, but I expected that from a resort. Definitely many options on site I will say, but I wandered off the resort a few times to find better food (there’s actually a few restaurants within walking distance; I walked at night and felt totally safe). Another plus is that the JW Marriott is next door and easily accessible via a covered/secured pedestrian bridge, so I was able to visit their pools and restaurants as well. I would definitely recommend staying here! I will be back next time I’m in Cancun.
