The resort is beautiful! We decided to come here for our anniversary. I’m currently writing this review from our room. However, it’s obvious that they are short handed. The food has been limited...and every day the food has been cold and very difficult to eat. Half on the amenities were closed when we arrived and now because of the wind and rain they have shut down completely! We haven’t had anything to drink in two days . So much for all inclusive! Nor have we seen any entertainment. Most of our time has been waiting on transportation to get around. The best part of the trip so far was the spa! However, that was also cut short due to it being windy. At least we could have some beverages in room. We have been stuck drinking water and watching movies. The only thing they offered us was some cold chicken sandwiches. The weather is not their fault . However. The resort could’ve made this trip more enjoyable. This has been a waste of our time and money! Everything we ask for we have been told no. We asked for a bottle to our room. They said no. Needless to say... we are very disappointed. Our anniversary trip will be over in a few hours and nothing to show for it.

Exceptionally poor service. Hotel is half empty, but guests can’t be served properly. Terrible!!! Party of 20 can't be accommodated at any restaurant. Poor / minimal food selection at the buffet with minimal serving staff. Buffet is open limited hours only during breakfast and lunch. Super slow service at the restaurants. Guest services are not accommodating.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel for our friends wedding the service was horrible. There was only ONE staff member checking in all the people for the event. We were offered welcome drinks and they never brought them to us. We had to walk up to the bar while others waited in the line to check in. The line took close to an hour and when we finally checked in they told us our rooms were not ready.Getting around the hotel was a hassle. The golf carts took over 40 minutes to pass by and sometimes they were full with no more room for us to ride on.In the room, we did not have a hair dryer, when on the website it says all rooms have them. I called to get a hair dryer delivered to my room and they never brought it. I had to ask a cleaning lady that was in the building and by the time they brought it I had less than 10 minutes to do my hair before my friends’ wedding ceremony.Also, we ordered room service and they arrived 2.5 hours later when we were heading out.Talking to other friends about their experience it seems like these issues were a constant for everyone. If I were you I would look into another resort to have an event or any type of getaway.

We chose to put our trust in Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres as the destination for our wedding day and completely regret it. We brought over 50 paying customers to this 5 star hotel all to be treated by horrible customer service. The resort is beautiful but unfortunately that was quickly overshadowed by the lousy service received right upon arrival. During our stay, we encountered a number of issues that were reported and then completely ignored. It's because these issues were ignored both in person and via email that I felt compelled to right this review.Check in was horrible. We (my wife and I) were suppose to have a confirmed private check in but instead were greeted by the receptionist letting us know that our room was not ready and we ended up waiting 2 hours to finally get into our suite.Our guests arrived two days later and were also suppose to get a private check in (this was confirmed the day before) but instead also had to wait an unbearable amount of time.I had expensive items that were stolen from my room which I reported. When following up with the stolen items report, I was turned away and told that they had no report and did not know what I was talking about.Customer service during our 6 day stay was the worst! Room service had to be called at least 3 times each time we needed anything and I was even denied service once because the staff said he was getting off in 10 minutes. The same applied to us when calling for a golf cart. Be prepared to wait at least 20-30 minutes for one. Unfortunately, I found that out on the day of my wedding while I was waiting 25 minutes for a golf cart that was promised to be there upon my arrival back from getting my hair and makeup done.Management has done nothing and has taken zero liability on matters that have happened at their hotel. I am beyond disappointed at their lack of responsibility especially when bringing them so much business. I can't even imagine how much worse we would have been treated if we weren't considered "VIP" guest.There are plenty of high caliber hotels in the area, you would be better off going somewhere else.

Overall, was a good experience. Place is BEAUTIFUL and the spa is unforgettable. Unfortunately, the food was a deal breaker for me.. With Covid not all the restaurants were open. The good restaurants were closed most of our stay. Both my parents got food poisoning. Also, they were extremely short-staffed. Golf carts took long. Walking was far with everything so spread out.
