Very nice place. Adults only so quite for the most part. Pool area has activites all afternoon so it's louder and more lively. Beach area is quite and serene. Staff is very catering and friendly. Stay away from the vacation club... You also have access to the Dreams next door. Lots of options for food. We tried to not eat the same place twice (except breakfast at the market cafe). Only place we didn't care for was the Brazilian Steak House at Dreams. The restaurants don't have huge selections and you need to have some nicer clothes for dinner (no reservations needed at most places). The Hibachi grill at Secrets needs reservations. Not all the restaurants were open every evening (they rotated) so pay attention to the "Sundial" activities laptop in your room. It will give you the current events, activities, restaurant openings, etc for both resorts... If I was to return to the same place (which we rarely do so we can see more locations) I would highly recommend. The small cost differences between garden view and ocean view was worth it to us, but if you don't spend hardly any time in your room then I would opt for the garden view... it is still very pretty. The Playa Mujeres area is gated and protected. There are no shops or businesses outside the resorts. You will need to catch a taxi 25 minutes back into town for that.
