Absolutely horrible experience, beware, beware, beware. This hotel will charge you extra "child fee" without your consent on your credit card. This hotel stay was purchased through Priceline (transaction dated 12/30) for a 7 day stay for our family (2 adults & a 4-year-old toddler). When we arrived at this hotel, we checked in, and then later without informing us, or our consent. This hotel charged us a $540 "child -fee" for our 4 years old staying with us. This charge was never disclosed, never agreed upon, and never authorized. This resort committed fraud, by charging our credit card without authorization.I have tried contacting the hotel, but keep getting the runaround. Absolute thieves!

AMAZING resort. The food is delicious and the staff are some of the best I've ever encountered. The beach is beautiful and the resort is very well cleaned and maintained.

We were disappointed in our stay. I would say that the beds were fine and comfortable enough to sleep in, but there was no hot water (or very little) throughout the entire resort the entire time we were there. The best shower I had was in the Spa. The massage was good. Much of the resort smelled like sewage most of the time. The food was about like you could expect an all inclusive place to be - gross. The pools were pretty sketchy. The beach was cramped like they may not own enough beach land. The area overall looks to be in economic distress, so I understand if quality is low. Good thing was that we had great friends and made the best of it. There are plenty of places elsewhere to stay to take a gamble on this one.

This is our 3rd time to visit this resort. It's our favorite place in Mexico! The food is unbelievable, the resort is nice, and the service is great! We want to give our butler "Rafael" a HUGE shout out! He made this vacation a wonderful experience! He took care of all of our needs, most were filled before we knew we needed them. He answered all of our questions, took care of beach reservations, dinner reservations, and gave us a great referral for one of our excursions. First class all the way! We can't wait to come back!

This was our first time at Azul Beach Riviera Maya and my family had and amazing time. The food was delicious, the rooms were great and the service was spectacular. The only complaint I have to give was when we accepted the upgrade, not because our room was not fabulous but in order to get the upgrade we had to attend a convention for 60 minutes where salesman would offer the premium upgrades. We went because what I understood was that they were going to talk about the different hotels that they have and honestly it sounded great to me because I wanted to learn more about the hotels, and they always let us know that They do not hassle you into the offers, well long story short, I told them I was not interested and it had been more than 60 minutes we got there at 9:22am and left at 10:55am, my daughter was hungry for a bottle, they got really upset, the director of the upgrades got there, and gave us an attitude and made us feel horrible and honestly to me it is not worth i rather stay in the room i paid for than to get bad vibes from salesman for an upgrade. So be careful when you get the free upgrades, that is the only complaint, other than that the service was amazing, they have baby amenities by baby is 15 months and they offered sterilizers, baby bottle warmer and they even have a kids pool, and my baby loved it!! Here are a few pictures of what I was able to take because honestly my phone was hardly on me, the food was delish, you MUST go to latin restaurant it is delicious
