The hotel is advertised as 5 stars although the quality of the rooms does not meet the expectations of such rating. Currently during the COVID-19 situation the should be some minimum measurements of safety which they are not strict about, you see many guests in the buffet in line without a face mask even when there are signs everywhere that that it’s mandatory and the supervisors or waiters don’t call their attention, when you complain about it they tell you they they try to tell people who don’t wear it to do so but they get mad about it...so what? The rest of the people might have to pay for this irresponsible persons? On the other hand you cannot show up at the breakfast or lunch buffet located next to the pool wearing a tank top, only women are allowed... in what age are we living? They are super strict about this and not about wearing an actual face mask?Our room was very dirty when we arrived, even found a hair on the bath tub together with a series of other things... honestly if you want to pay for an average service go ahead but definitely they could improve a lot on many things.The breakfast options are very limited compared to other hotels I have visited in the Mayan Riviera, the dinner restaurants are definitely much better.Due to the problems we had they upgraded our room and tried to compensate us for the inconveniences but this things should happen since we weren’t the only ones who experienced it.
